Chicago Hotels Near Midway Airport

Unless you are coming into town for business near the Midway airport or simply have an overnight layover or a very (very) early morning flight out of Chicago, there is no reason to stay at Midway airport.

There’s not much to see or do around the airport, the area isn’t the nicest, and though the Orange line easily connects downtown to the airport, an early morning cab ride is more convenient with heavy bags.

Still, if you need to stay near Midway Airport, here are a few recommended hotels to check out.

Chicago Marriott Midway
The Marriott Midway is just two blocks from the airport and offers a complimentary shuttle 24-hours a day. There’s a restaurant, Copper Fox, and a Starbucks onsite, plus an indoor pool.

Holiday Inn Chicago - Midway Airport S
The old Holiday Inn at Midway has closed, and the name now belongs to the former Four Points by Sheraton building at 7353 S. Cicero Ave., about a mile and a half south of the airport. It offers free wifi, a free shuttle to the airport and the Midway Orange Line station, a fitness center, a restaurant and bar, and a seasonal outdoor pool.

On Cicero Avenue next to the airport, the Holiday Inn Express runs a free shuttle around the clock to Midway and the Orange Line.
