There’s some good new and some bad news for those looking for accommodation in Chicago. The bad news is that because Chicago is such a popular destination for tourists and business travelers, prices for accommodations can be high, especially during peak times. The good news, though, is that the city is chock-full of hotels so (with the exception of days around special-events like the Chicago Marathon) you can always find a room and during off-peak times, stiff competition can help lower prices.

Visitors to Chicago have a variety of accommodation choices available to them. If you’re looking for a luxury highrise hotel with beautiful views of the city, Chicago River, or Lake Michigan, we’ve certainly got that. If you’d prefer a moderately-priced hotel close to everything on Michigan Avenue, the city delivers there too.

Chicago has hotels at all star levels and prices, plus a few options that provide a nice alternative to a hotel. Whether you are on a tight budget and are looking for a clean, comfortable hostel in a good location, or if you want something with a little more character and personal attention, like a B&B or guesthouse, there’s a perfect place for you to lay your head in Chicago. Coming to the city for an extended period of time? You can even consider renting an apartment.
